Honor Graduate Application (PD 907)

Image
On pursuing my Philsat Exemption, I had to apply for the honor graduate eligibility from the Civil Service Commission. The only office I know is in Banawe, Quezon. Fortunately, there were fewer people on the line so I was able to process my request without delays. The CSC Office in Banawe,Quezon City      The necessary documents to present are the properly accomplished  CS FORM 101-D, Revised September 2013  and documentary requirements stated on the CS FORM (see pictures below). The specific requirements stated on the CS Form      When I had provided my complete requirements, I had to pay P500 for the processing fee (P300) and evaluation fee (P200). PUP Law School Application

I want to become a lawyer! That thought just passed on my head two weeks ago. Then series of google searches like "top law schools in the Philippines" came. When I saw UP on the top of the list, I said I want to take the entrance test for that. So, I searched again on the details of the exam, but then, come on, exam has just ended last Feb 19! Total bad timing. Next on the list, SAN BEDA and ATENEO....no, I just don't have sufficient money yet to finance myself and I can't ask from my parents because they had graduated financing me from the moment I step on the corporate world haha. So... I search again and, voila.. found out PUP LAW SCHOOL! I immediately did the online application and paid through the cashier (Total amount was P1,250. P500 for entrance exam and P750 for psychological exam) And so, March 4 came (the day of the exam). I wasn't able to really review on what might be the possible questions on the exam because I only had fe

What's Geyluv?

https://aintwhatitseems.wordpress.com/2015/05/14/can-i-not-be/             As the world has been aware of the growing number of homosexuals, some have taken advanced measures to make the homosexuals feel that their gender option is never a hindrance for equal treatment while others still couldn’t accept the idea and try to bully the different physically, mentally and socially. In relation to this, I decided to make a bit of review of the story I had read back when I took my Philippine Literature class. The story is titled Geyluv by Honorio Bartolome.            The story of Geyluv by Honorio Bartolome talks about how a man romantically loving another man handles the dilemma of expressing his love around his prejudiced society. The character of Benjie is portrayed as an obvious homosexual who fears for commitment with a man because he is afraid of being used, afraid that people might use his homosexuality for selfish motives while Mike is considered to be a real man who has

Who Discovered The Philippines?

Image
We all have heard the history of the discovery of the Philippines for the nth time starting from our elementary years and even on our college. Philippines was discovered by Ferdinand Magellan on March 16, 1521 as so our teachers would tell us. However, as I pondered along our discussion, I realized that Ferdinand Magellan was not really the first person who discovered the Philippines. In fact, there were already inhabitants on this country long before he had stepped foot on the country’s ground. How will I be able to discuss this historical fact to other students, Filipinos, or foreigners who may perhaps contradict the idea?             As a Philippine history student and as a Filipino, perhaps, the most effective way to thoroughly explain the so-called discovery of Magellan of the Philippines without any biases to any races is to efficiently reinstate the premise that history is an open question. We all know that history varies according to the perspective of the w

How The Election Went For A First Time Voter

http://northboundasia.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/eleksyon20161.jpg           Today is the day when I get to first exercise my right and responsibility for suffrage. It is an exhilarating feeling because through this I am taking part on the country’s vital decision making on who the leaders should be. With this election, the future of our country is shaped through the selection of the leaders who would either bring progress and beneficial change to this nation or destruction and disunity of this country.             I and my companions went as early as 8am to Gen. Licerio Geronimo Elementary School and as soon as we reached the place, I could see plenty of people distributing papers endorsing their candidates at the last minute. I did not bother to accept any of those papers since I know that these are considered as campaign activities which are prohibited by the COMELEC. Also, I do not want to add up to the irresponsible littering to the surroundings. We then went inside
